Spring Celebration at the MGM for MAXISIQ
On April 4, 2025, I had the pleasure of bringing a little extra spark to the annual MAXISIQ Party held at the luxurious MGM National Harbor. With over 200 guests, a DJ spinning all night, and a high-stakes raffle, this event blended high-energy entertainment with genuine connection. But the real showstopper? A surprise marriage proposal in the middle of the magic.

What was the event?
From the first illusion to the final dance track, here’s how we made the night unforgettable—and how you can too.
We didn’t just do “a show.” We designed a full experience.
Strolling magic during cocktail hour kicked things off with laughter and awe, warming up the room before guests even stepped inside the ballroom.
A high-energy stage show delivered interactive magic woven with behavioral science insights—turning what could’ve been passive entertainment into a shared memory.
And most importantly: We made space for real-life magic. One guest worked with me behind the scenes to propose during the act, using a customized reveal built into the show. The audience exploded. The moment was emotional, unexpected, and unforgettable—and it turned the night into a forever story.
Takeaway for Clients: Don't just entertain—orchestrate moments that matter. When your guests see themselves in the story, they remember it forever.
How to get patricipation.

Participation is the New Prestige. This year, the karaoke contest became a highlight of the night—and that’s no accident.
By collaborating closely with DJ Ricky and announcing the prizes early, we tripled the usual number of karaoke sign-ups.
I worked the room as an MC, teasing the contest in advance, hyping up participants, and offering mini-prizes for boldness.
The energy shift was palpable. Instead of “a few brave singers,” we had a full-blown competition with cheering crowds, inside jokes, and new stars born on the spot.
Takeaway for Clients: Participation skyrockets when stakes are clear, incentives are fun, and someone is actively inviting your guests into the spotlight.

Simplify while amplifying.
Simplify while amplifying.
Simplify the Structure, Amplify the Impact.
This year’s party leaned into simplicity, and it paid off.
Instead of overloading the schedule, we focused on three main entertainment beats: strolling magic, the stage show, and the raffle/karaoke.
With a clear flow and plenty of breathing room between activities, the night felt intentional, not rushed.
By coordinating directly with the DJ and party team, I was able to weave the entertainment seamlessly between transitions and announcements, keeping momentum high without ever feeling forced.
Takeaway for Clients: Sometimes less is more, especially when every element is thoughtfully placed and tied together with one host who can read the room and adapt in real time.
